StoryLoad ("we", "us", or "our") operates a professional video publishing platform for content creators and agencies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you connect your social media accounts and use our service.

By using StoryLoad, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you connect a social media account (such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, or VK), we store:

• OAuth access token and refresh token provided by the platform
• Your account ID and display name / channel title on that platform
• Token expiry date

2.2 Content Data

We temporarily store video files that you upload for publishing. After a video has been successfully published, files may be retained for a limited period to support re-publishing or error recovery, then deleted.

2.3 Usage Data

We log publication attempts, successes, and failures (platform name, timestamp, clip identifier) to maintain the reliability of our service. We do not collect analytics on your audience, content views, likes, or follower counts.

3. TikTok Integration — Specific Disclosures

StoryLoad integrates with TikTok using the TikTok Content Posting API. When you connect your TikTok account:

• Permissions requested: We request only the video.upload scope and user.info.basic scope. We do not request access to your followers, likes, comments, watch history, inbox messages, or any other personal or audience data.
• Data stored: We store your TikTok access token, refresh token, and account display name. This data is used exclusively to post videos that you have manually approved for publication.
• Data not collected: We do not collect, store, or process your TikTok analytics, follower lists, video performance metrics, audience demographics, or private messages.
• Token usage: Your access token is used solely to call the TikTok Content Posting API on your behalf. It is never shared with third parties.
• Video content: We upload only videos that have been manually reviewed and explicitly approved by your team. No automated bulk uploads occur.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate with social media platforms on your behalf
• Publish videos to the platforms you have connected
• Display your connected account status within the dashboard
• Troubleshoot publishing errors and maintain service reliability

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

• OAuth tokens: Retained as long as your account connection is active. Deleted immediately upon disconnection.
• Video files: Deleted within 30 days of successful publication.
• Log records: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging and compliance purposes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

• Disconnect your account at any time from the StoryLoad dashboard. This immediately deletes your stored OAuth tokens.
• Revoke TikTok access directly from TikTok: Settings & privacy → Security → Apps and Websites → Manage apps → StoryLoad → Remove.
• Request deletion of all your data by contacting us at privacy@shortsflow.io.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us at the same address.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of OAuth tokens, HTTPS for all data transmissions, and access controls limiting which team members can view stored credentials. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Third-Party Services

Our service connects to the following third-party platforms at your explicit request: TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, VK Video. Each platform has its own privacy policy and terms of service that govern the data they provide to us. We encourage you to review their policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of StoryLoad after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
